Elks Lodge to honor veterans Nov. 8

The Perry Elks Lodge will host a program honoring Taylor County veterans Sunday, Nov. 8, at 1 p.m.

Dinner is free for veterans; adults, $10; children ages seven to 12, $5; and children six and under, free.

“While we will be honoring all veterans, we will give special recognition to our World War II veterans. Posters and memorabilia from the era will be displayed, and musical selections from that time period will be featured,” Coordinator Ed Harvey said.
