    Wall seeks a new trial, claims juror misconduct

    Any measure of closure the family of the late Erin Walker Lawless found from a guilty verdict for the man found responsible for her death likely evaporated in an instant with his request for a new trial amid allegations of juror misconduct.

    A jury took less than one hour Oct. 28 to find Jason Wall, 33, guilty of driving under the influence (DUI) manslaughter and DUI with serious bodily injury. (Jurors retired at 12:45 p.m. and returned with a verdict at 1:38 p.m.)
