John W. Vann, 53, of Kokomo, Ind., died at 2:44 a.m., Monday, Jan. 25, 2016, at Marion General Hospital in Marion, Ind.

A service celebrating the life of John W. Vann will be held Friday, Jan. 29, at 2 p.m., at Converse Christian Church in Converse, Ind., with Pastor Brent Faulkner officiating. Military rites will be provided by the Miami County Military Rites Unit.

Family and friends will gather from 2-8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 28,  at the Converse Christian Church, and will gather again Friday from 1-2 p.m.
