Food worker charged with smuggling synthetic pot, tobacco into Taylor CI

County Judge Bill Blue set a $15,000 bond Thursday morning for a Mayo woman who allegedly smuggled synthetic cannabis and tobacco to inmates at Taylor Correctional Institution (TCI).

Franchesca Smith, 28, was employed as a food service worker at the prison at the time of her arrest.
