Teacher escorted from TTI campus in front of students

A Taylor Technical Institute (TTI) instructor was escorted off campus—while in the middle of class and in front of students—on Friday afternoon, May 20.

Guy Gibson, whose annual contract was not renewed, was initially told he would remain on staff through the end of the school year (this Thursday); however, Director Judy Johnson, accompanied by Coach Ed Harvey, went to Gibson’s classroom after lunch Friday and escorted him off campus, Gibson said Tuesday.
