    Andy Johnson

    Posted on May 31, 2016

Another brave Viking has gone to Valhalla (heaven). Anders ‘Andy’ Ingvar Johnson passed away in his sleep April 27, 2016 at Haven Hospice in Chiefland with complications from lung cancer.
Andy was born in Glen Cove, New York on October 16, 1942 to Swedish parents, Andrew and Sonia Johnson.
He donated his body to science and instead of a service; he wanted a “celebration of life party.” Please join his family in celebrating his life and sending him to Viking heaven. It will be held Saturday, June 4th at 400 Cedar Street 2 (the street right across from Kings Creek Circle and the first street north of the Landings). Once you turn onto Cedar Street, go to the very end of the street and you will run right into the yellow house where the party is. It will start around 3 PM.
His family is requesting you write down a memory or two on paper and you may speak the memory, or not. The papers will then be tossed into the fire and the memories will float to heaven. If you are unable to attend, please send the memories to his wife, Linda Johnson, PO Box 982, Steinhatchee, FL; email feif@bellsouth.net, or call 352-498-5806. If it is a private memory, fold the paper and tape it shut; it will be tossed into the fire unopened. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity or Haven Hospice, 4200 NW 90th Blvd., Gainesville, FL 32606.
