Felony criminal mischief charges dropped

The State Attorney’s Office has dismissed felony criminal mischief charges against former county commissioner Walter Rowell, 65.

Rowell was arrested May 12 and charged with felony criminal mischief for allegedly vandalizing barricades placed at the newly constructed bridge on Highway 221 near Rocky’s convenience store.
