Residents are voting early and by mail: 1,800 to date

A week remains until the 2016 Primary Election and more than 1,800 Taylor County voters have already cast their ballots.

As of presstime Tuesday, 1,096 people had voted by mail, 755 had participated in early voting and seven had cast provisional ballots, according to figures from Supervisor of Elections Dana Southerland.
