    NOTICE OF SPECIAL DISTRICT BOARD OF TRUSTEES MEETING AND PRIVATE ATTORNEY-CLIENT SESSION:Ê The District Board of Trustees of North Florida Community College announces a Special Board Meeting in order to adjourn and meet in a private attorney-client session to be conducted pursuant to Section 286.011(8), Florida Statutes.Ê The Special Board Meeting followed by the private attorney-client session shall convene on October 18, 2016 at 5:30 p.m. prior to the BoardÕs regularly scheduled meeting which will begin at 6:00 p.m.Ê At the conclusion of the private attorney-client session, the Board will reconvene in open session so that the Chairman may announce the termination of the private attorney-client session and then the regularly scheduled meeting shall be convened.
    The Special Meeting and private attorney-client session shall be held in the NFCC Board Room (Bldg. 9), North Florida Community College, 325 NW Turner Davis Drive, Madison, FL 32340.
    The subject matter of the private attorney-client session shall be confined to settlement negotiations or strategy sessions related to litigation expenditures in The District Board of Trustees of North Florida Community College vs the City of Madison, #2016-075-CA, 3rd Judicial Circuit, Madison County, FL.
    Ê The individuals attending the private attorney-client session are as follows: Board Members Michael R. Williams, Ricky N. Lyons, Ann ÒSharon Benoit, Jon Coker, Sandra Haas, David Howell, William ÒBillyÓ Washington, Alton Williams Jr., Lloyd ÒGaryÓ Wright, President John Grosskopf; and General Counsel: Bruce A. Leinback.
    Pursuant to Florida Law, the entire private attorney-client session shall be recorded by a certified court reporter. No portion of the session shall be off the record.     SUWANNEE RIVER WATER MANAGEMENT DISTRICT
    PUBLIC NOTICE OF APPLICATION
    Notice is hereby given that pursuant to Chapter 373, Florida Statutes, the following application for permit was received on September 30, 2016:
    Foley Cellulose LLC, One Buckeye Drive, Perry, FL 32348 has submitted an application to modify Water Use Permit, number 2-123-217887-2, authorizing a maximum average daily use of 0.0778 million gallons of groundwater for industrial use. This project is located in Township 5S, Range 8E, Section 9, in Taylor County.
    Interested persons may comment upon the application or submit a written request for a staff report containing proposed agency action regarding the application by writing to the Suwannee River Water Management District, Attn: Resource Management, 9225 C.R. 49, Live Oak, FloridaÊ 32060. Such comments or requests must be received by 5:00 PM within 14 days from the date of publication.
    No further public notice will be provided regarding this application.Ê A copy of the staff report must be requested in order to remain advised of further proceedings.Ê Substantially affected persons are entitled to request an administrative hearing, pursuant to Title 28, Florida Administrative Code, regarding the proposed agency action by submitting a written request after reviewing the staff report.

    The Taylor County Board of County Commissioners is soliciting bid proposals from licensed building contractors to construct a Fire Fighter Training Tower.
    Bid Proposal information can be obtained online at taylorcountygov.com
    Sealed proposals shall be submitted to the Clerk of Court, 1st Floor Courthouse, 108 North Jefferson St. Suite 102. The deadline for submittal is 4:00 PM November 18th 2016.
    The County reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to reject any or all proposals, to cancel or withdraw this request for proposals at any time and waive any irregularities in the proposal process. The County reserves the right to award any contract to the respondent which it deems to offer the best overall service; therefore, the County is not bound to award any contract based on the lowest quoted price. The County, in its sole and absolute discretion, also reserves the right to waive any minor defects in the process and to accept the proposal deemed to be in the CountyÕs best interest.
