Is your family protected from fire?

City residents are encouraged to contact the City of Perry Fire Department to schedule an appointment to check smoke detectors in their homes.

“We will come to you house to check your detectors to make sure they work properly, make sure of placement and check the batteries. We’ll also show residents how they can change the batteries and check the detectors themselves,” said Fire Chief Command Captain Robbie Moon.

“To schedule an appointment, please call City Fire at (850) 584-3311.”

County residents may contact Taylor County Fire Rescue at (850) 838-3522 to schedule the same service.
