    Traffic stop leads to meth charges

    A Perry man faces multiple drug charges after tossing a bag later found to contain methamphetamine out of his passenger window as a police officer approached him during a traffic stop.

    The suspicious action gave Perry Police Department (PPD) Ptl. Jamin Cephus cause to take Eduard Leverett Lilliot Jr., 40, into custody Sunday morning while he conducted a search of the area where the item was thrown, as well as the man’s F-150 truck.
