Huge Suwannee sawmill to have major impact in region

A huge sawmill to be located in Suwannee County will have a substantial impact on area timber growers, loggers and end users as it begins the construction phase on its multi-million dollar facility near the intersection of U.S. 90 and I-10.

Gov. Rick Scott announced the construction of the Klausner Lumber One sawmill Friday, saying the high-tech facility will create 350 permanent jobs  and inject $130 million in capital over three years.
