Teal in the Park, Small Business Jan. 27

    Posted on January 19, 2018

Rosehead Park is in for an event-filled Saturday on Jan. 27. There will be live music, guest speakers, good food, shopping, snow cones, a bounce house, a book signing and much more as “Small Business Saturday” and “Teal in the Park” join forces to support small businesses and cervical cancer awareness.

From 10 a.m. until 6 p.m., more than 20 small businesses, including jewelry, skin-care, crafts, and photography vendors, will set up shop in the downtown park to showcase what they do best and give the community a chance to explore the local businesses that populate Taylor County.

The National Cervical Cancer Coalition (NCCC) “TeamMeg” Big Bend Chapter will host “Teal in the Park” in conjunction with “Small Business Saturday,” to educate the public on the importance of cervical cancer awareness and help support the women and families who have been touched by cervical cancer and HPV.

“Join us for an educational, fun day of shopping and entertainment. You don’t want to miss this!” #TeamMeg founder and Teal in the Park special guest speaker Amy Alvarez said.
Live music will be performed by Kameron Williams, Paul Miller, and DJ Jeremy Gray. A book signing by Delores Walker, local author of the Promise series, will also be held.
