Perry man charged in Tallahassee murder

Just a handful of years after making his mark on the football field with the Taylor County High School Bulldogs, Johnny “Baby J” Anderson III is now facing the possibility of life in prison for first degree murder.

The 23-year-old Perry man was arrested last week, Feb. 1, for the 2017 shooting death of a Tallahassee man. Anderson is being held without bond at the Leon County Jail. The shooting happened in the early morning hours of Sept. 13 in the parking lot of the Pita Pit restaurant in Tallahassee at 1935 West Tennessee Street. The victim, 21-year-old Andrew Glover, was shot six times.
