    Posted on February 21, 2018

A Perry man who allegedly made threats about killing Mayor David Sullivan and City Manager Bob Brown was arrested Friday afternoon, Feb. 16, after being found in possession of an illegal short-barrel shotgun.

The suspect, Johnnie Ray Wade, 36, posted a $15,000 bond and was released. Dixie County Judge Jennifer Johnson handed down the bond amount during Wade’s first appearance hearing Saturday as she filled in for County Judge Bill Blue, who was serving as Grand Marshal for the 10th annual Fiddler Crab Festival in Steinhatchee.
