    Clinton “Chase” Davis

    Clinton “Chase” Davis, age 17, of Taylor County died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2018, at his residence. Chase was born in Jacksonville on Feb. 6, 2001, to his parents, Clinton Edward Davis and Christina Elaine Lawson Vann.

    Chase has been a resident of Baker County since 2014, after relocating from Perry. He graduated from Baker County High School in 2018 and was currently working at Burger King as a cook. Chase had a passion for the outdoors and loved being in the woods, hunting and fishing. As a young boy, he loved soccer and even played on an All-Star team. Chase loved hats and could always be seen wearing one. He also enjoyed playing video games, but more than anything, Chase loved his family.

    He was preceded in death by: his paternal grandfather, James Davis.

    Chase is survived by: his loving mother, Christina (Terry) Vann of Taylor County; his father, Clinton Davis of Tallahassee; his brothers, Nathan (Karsen Dixon) Olive and Jayden Vann, both of Taylor County, and Ethan Holmes of Tallahassee; his sister, Cheyenne Vann of Taylor County; his maternal grandparents, Connie (James) Gilbert and John (Kathy) Lawson; his paternal grandmother, Carol Davis; his step-grandparents, Jennie (Eddie Borklund) Barnes; his step-great-grandmother, Louise Close; his aunts, Crystal (Tony) Holt, Naomie (John) Harden and Kacey Williams; his uncle, James Lawson; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.

    A Memorial visitation will be held Saturday, Dec. 1, from 1-3 p.m. at V. Todd Ferreira Funeral Services Chapel. The arrangements are under the care of V.
