TCMS baseball team falls to Lake City in season opener

The Taylor County Middle School baseball team dropped its season opener Tuesday to Lake City Middle School by a score of 4-1.

Zachary Fike started on the mound for the Bulldogs and pitched an outstanding game, giving up 4 unearned runs on 1 hit, striking out 5 and walking 3.

Caleb Wentworth came on in relief, pitching the last inning holding the visitors to no runs, no hits and one base on balls.
