County to seek CDBG funds for housing rehab

The Taylor County Commission is looking to apply for a $750,000 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) to fund low-income housing improvements.

The commission held the first of two public hearings on the grant last week, and listened to a presentation on the CDBG program from Kathy Baker of Jordan & Associates, which the county contracted with to administrate CDBG applications.
