B&G Club ‘powered’ by Duke

The Duke Energy Foundation awarded the Boys & Girls Club a $14,500 grant to fund its “Learning STEMs from Duke” program.

“This grant will support the STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) programs taught by certified teachers that club members enjoy,” Executive Director Emily Weed Ketring said. Duke representative Bobby Pickels (back, left) joined Ketring and club members for the grant presentation.
