Don’t forget to save pop-tops

If you aren’t saving aluminum pop-tops, will you begin now? That’s the plea from the women’s committee of Taylor County Farm Bureau which has taken on this project for the next five months.

“We ask for your help in collecting pop-tops from aluminum soft drink cans so we can collect a full, 5-gallon bucket before Food Check-Out Day which is in February.”

Taylor has joined the 10 counties in Farm Bureau District II hoping to collect 10 5-gallon buckets for delivery to the Ronald McDonald House Charity in Tallahassee.

A 5-gallon bucket has been placed at the Farm Bureau office. “If we fill the first bucket, we will buy a new one.”
