Track team breaks five school records

The Taylor County High track team recorded seven first place finishes while breaking five school records at the 45th annual George Lope Invitational Saturday at Starke-Bradford High School.

Freshman Meagan Giddens set two school records in the 400 meter dash (65.5 seconds) and the 800 meter run (2:35) and also competed on the first-place finishing 4×400 meter relay team (4:47). Other members of the relay team included Alison Roberts, Ashley Giacomucci and Deanna Crowley.
