Prison contraband trial delayed

The trial of two Taylor Correctional Institution (TCI) sergeants, slated to begin Tuesday, has been continued until the next round of pre-trial hearings, June 9.

Delrikos A. Brooks, 32, and Robert Simmons, 48, face charges of directing activities of a criminal gang; aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and witness tampering.
