Flu shots available for senior citizens

Flu shots will be available at the Taylor County Senior Citizens Center Wednesday, Oct. 8, for residents 55 and older.

Those wishing to receive the shot are asked to contact the senior center at 584-4924 no later than Oct. 6

Insurance/Medicare cards must be presented at the time of service; Medicaid patients will not be eligible for the shot. The fee for uninsured senior residents will be $20.

The service is being provided by Walgreens.
