FDOT plans $28 million in paving, bridge projects here

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) has unveiled its tentative five-year work plan for fiscal years 2016-20 in Taylor County, featuring more than $28 million in construction projects, which include resurfacing portions of U.S. 19 and U.S. 221 in Perry as well as four bridge replacements.

Representatives from FDOT’s district two office recently presented Taylor County commissioners with information on the work plan and will hold an open house to field questions and comments from the public on Tuesday, Dec. 9, from 2 to 6 p.m. in Lake City.
