Holiday brings mixed bag of calls for PPD

Christmas week brought a mixed bag of calls for the Perry Police Department (PPD), with officers responding to 205 dispatches ranging from verbal arguments to minor hit-and-runs Dec. 23-28.

Two drug arrests were among the calls logged during the week, however officials said they were not able to release complete details of the crimes as of presstime Tuesday.
