Once the third-ranked high school linebacker in the country, Gary Blount knows intimately the adrenaline rush a top athlete faces each time he steps on a football field.

He also knows the drive and determination it takes to succeed on the field—play after play and game after game. To say he is proud of his son, LeGarrette Blount, is a vast understatement.
