Siren testing suspended

Due to maintenance, the monthly testing of coastal sirens in the beaches area will be suspended in February.

Officials anticipate testing will resume in March. Taylor County Emergency Management tests the sirens the second Thursday of each month between 10-11 a.m. with an audible alarm.
