Ready to garden? Free workshop offered March 10

A beginning gardening workshop will be held Tuesday, March 10, at the Taylor County Extension Office from 6-8 p.m.

The workshop will cover the following topics: variety selection, fertilizing, soil testing, pest control, crop rotation, strategies, using seeds or transplants, irrigation requirements and organic production consideration.

Handouts will be provided. Space is limited to 25 attendees; to reserve your spot, please call 838-3508 today. Admission is free.
