    The Suwannee River Economic Council, Inc. will hold an election for a Taylor County Representative of the poor.  The representative need not be poor, but must be chosen in a manner to insure that they represent the poor.  To be elected, an individual must be at least 18 years of age and a resident of Taylor County.  Individuals interested in having their names placed on the ballot should contact Heather Mosley at 850-584-8858 no later than June 11, 2015.
    The election will be held on June 15th ñ June 19th, 2015, in the Suwannee River Economic Council, Inc.ís (SREC) office located at: 1708 S. Byron Butler Parkway, Suite B, Perry, Florida 32348.  Listed below are the general duties of SREC, Inc. Board Members:
    Sets major organizational, personnel, fiscal and program policies.
    Determines overall program plans and priorities and evaluation of performance.

    The terms of office as a SREC, Inc. Board member will be five (5) years (2015-2020).

    Notice is hereby given, that the Board of County Commissioners of Taylor County, Florida, will hold a Public Hearing on proposed changes to the speed limit on Contractor’s Road, Perry, Florida.  The Public Hearing shall be held at the Board of County Commissioners Meeting Room, Taylor County Courthouse Annex, Old Post Office Building in Perry, Florida, at the regular Board meeting on TUESDAY, JUNE 23, 2015, at 6:10 P.M.
    All members of the public are welcome to attend.  Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Florida Statute 286.0105, that any person or persons deciding to appeal any matter considered at this Public Hearing will need a record of the hearing, and may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceeding is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.

    The Taylor County Board of County Commissioners is soliciting sealed bids for DMH Endoscopy Equipment.
