A king catch

Perry native Kirk Coker (shown above left) and his 15-year-old son, Tyler, enjoyed a beautiful Saturday on the gulf out of Keaton Beach recently.

Tyler boated a 43-inch, 18 pound king mackerel. Tyler’s trophy was gaffed and hauled in by his cousin, J.R. Coker. Kirk Coker played quarterback for Taylor County High and for Florida State. J.R. currently plays for the Bulldogs.
