BREAKING: Long-time educator found dead at home; FDLE crime lab enroute

Long-time Taylor County educator Shelly O’Steen Strickland was found dead at her home earlier today (Wednesday, June 24), according to a Taylor County Sheriff’s Department spokesperson.

TCSO Capt. Ron Rice said local law enforcement officers are currently investigating the scene on Osteen Road. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement Crime Lab was enroute early this afternoon to further investigate.
