With work well underway on the first phase of renovations to Forest Capital Hall and the Taylor County Commission seeking additional grant funds for the second phase, the county joined the Perry- Taylor County Chamber Friday to officially unveil their long-term vision for the facility at a community luncheon, during which the Georgia-Pacific Foundation announced it was donating $100,000 to the project.

Forest Capital Hall, which was built in 1967, serves as the county’s primary location for staging regional and community events.
