Boys soccer team falls to Pensacola in playoffs, ending its 12-4-2 season

The Taylor County High boys soccer team’s season came to a close Thursday in Pensacola as the Bulldogs fell 1-0 to Pensacola Catholic in the first round of the state playoffs.

Trailing 1-0 with less than five minutes remaining in the match, Bulldog striker Chris Davis received a pass in the box and booted what appeared to be the game-tying goal when Catholic’s goalie made a tremendous save to earn the win for the Crusaders.
