FSU to present ‘Spring Awakening’

The Florida State University School of Theatre’s 2012-13 season continues with the musical “Spring Awakening” at Fallon Theatre in Tallahassee.

The Tony Award-winning rock musical is an adaptation of the controversial 1891 German play by Frank Wedekind. Audiences are taken on a whirlwind of a journey that explores the world of teenage sexuality and how it can lead to love and demise when left in the dark.

The musical contains adult themes, adult language and nudity, and is recommended for those ages 16+. Showtimes are Feb. 22-23, 27-28 and March 1-2 at 8 p.m. and Feb. 24 and March 3 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $20 for adults, $18 for seniors and $10 for students.
