Storm brings lightning strikes that damage library, one home

A series of weekend storms produced three inches of rain coupled with frequent lightning strikes, one of which damaged several computers at the Taylor County Public Library.

Library officials said their computers and internet were down Monday but had been mostly restored by Tuesday, although they were awaiting parts for repairs on two of the computers.
