More than 600 men, women and children came out Tuesday, April 16, for the Community Walk supporting Lauren Book’s fourth annual “Walk in My Shoes” journey across Florida.

“This is the largest turnout we have had in the state!” Book told the group. The event not only worked to bring awareness of the issue of child sexual abuse, but also to promote healing for survivors. Local sponsors included Duke Energy and the Perry Kiwanis Club.
