Tallahassee symphony will present ‘Ravishing Romanticism’

The Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra will present “Ravishing Romanticism” Saturday, May 4, at 8 p.m. at Ruby Diamond Concert Hall on the FSU campus featuring mezzo-soprano Phyllis Pancella.

The musical poets Gustav Mahler and Pyotr Tchaikovsky are paired on this concert of ravishing romantic music. Mahler’s intimate and gorgeous settings of German poet Friedrich Rückert will be followed by the tragic and triumphant Fourth Symphony of Tchaikovsky.
