Controversy dogs city’s home ownership program

The City of Perry continues to court controversy with its “land for homes” program, this time with neighbors crying foul over the placement of what appears to be a mobile home at one of the eligible properties in the Pine Ridge subdivision.

A contingent of property owners from the area was set to appear at the city council’s regular Tuesday, May 14, meeting.
