Steinhatchee’s Evans catches largest trout in Nauti-Girl Tournament


The Nauti-Girls Fishing Tournament in Steinhatchee set sail Saturday morning to search for the “big ones.” By the end of the day, 13 ladies had managed to bring in a prize winning fish.

With a very nice fish weighing 6.95 pounds, Toni Sherrell  of Mayo captured 1st place in the redfish division. Suzie Skitsko of Steinhatchee followed in 2nd place with a 6.85-pound  red. Katie Polgar from Cumming, Ga., picked up 3rd place with a redfish weighing 6.7 pounds.
