Tarpon and bonefish to become ‘catch-and-release-only’ Sept. 1

Two premier recreational fisheries will soon have new protections in place, a measure aimed at ensuring the economic and fishing value of tarpon and bonefish for generations to come, according to Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) officials.
