$50,000 donation

Team leaders from Georgia-Pacific’s Buckeye facility presented a $50,000 donation to Taylor County’s United Way campaign Friday, Jan. 17. The contribution helped add two more “levels” to the campaign’s fund-raising goal sign posted at the courthouse. GP’s Employee Campaign Coordinator (and plant technology manager) Bob Cate said “Georgia-Pacific is a proud of supporter of United Way.” Shown at the check presentation are: (back, left to right) Drucilla Sands, Brenda Morgan, Kaye Mock, Bob Cate, Mark Wiggins, June Evans, Rob Hilley and Ronnette Griffin; (front, kneeling) Brenda Carlton and Koleta Huntsinger; (front, seated) Glenda Hamby and Pam Rigoni-Parker.
