43 arrested by DEA task force

The U.S. Department of Justice Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) will recognize two investigators with the Perry Police Department Tuesday for their roles in a task force operation that led to the arrest of 43 federal defendants and the seizure of assets valued at more than $120,000.

In a letter to Chief Vern Clark, Special-Agent-in-Charge Mark R. Trouville commended the “hard work and dedication” of Det. Sgt. Gene Franklin and Inv. Dwight Norris. The men were part of the (DEA) Tallahassee office’s Organize Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force Operation “King of the Trap.”
