Ratliff gets a hit in first major league at bat

Perry’s Taylor Ratliff got in his first major league exhibition game Wednesday and stroked a single to centerfield in his first and only at bat–eventually scoring the winning run in the Arizona Diamondbacks’ 6-4 victory over the Colorado Rockies.

Ratliff entered the game in the sixth inning going into left field. He came to bat in the eighth with the score tied at 4. After his single, he advanced to second on a pass ball and then to third on another pass ball before being driven in to put Arizona on top for good.
