‘Dogs score two in the ninth to down district foe Godby

The Taylor County High baseball team scored 3 runs in the top of the 7th to tie its game Wednesday against district foe Godby and send the contest into extra innings where the Bulldogs scored 2 in the ninth to claim a 7-5 victory.

It was the seventh straight win for Taylor County and improved the ‘Dogs’ record to 13-6 overall, 5-1 in Class 4A, District 2 with the district tournament coming up in about 10 days.
