A Quincy man suspected in a February 2014 bank robbery here was convicted by a federal grand jury last week of back-to-back robberies in Suwannee County.
United States Attorney A. Lee Bentley III announced that a federal jury found Kenneth Lamar Ellington, 46, guilty of two counts of bank robbery. He faces a maximum penalty of 20 years in federal prison for each count. Sentencing has been set for Oct. 19, before United States District Judge Marcia Morales Howard.
