City takes on student crosswalks

There is no law requiring crosswalk and school zone road markings, but concern for student safety is prompting the Perry City Council to step up and take on the responsibility.

At Tuesday’s meeting, council members made plans to move forward with re-painting the crosswalk and school zone areas on city streets and bearing the cost of materials to complete the task
