The ongoing case revolving around Florida’s congressional districts will remain in the courtroom of Leon County Circuit Judge Terry Lewis for the time being after the Florida Supreme Court issued its latest ruling Friday, Sept. 4.
The ruling, which was in response to a motion filed by the Florida House of Representatives, granted the House’s request to keep the case at the trial court level but refused to extend the 100-day deadline it established back in July, which is set for Oct. 17.
