After learning of the need for additional space so a place could be made to house cats away from dogs at the Taylor County Animal Shelter, the Ragans family of Ragans Ace Hardware stepped forward to offer a solution: the donation of a metal building. Helping of Hands of the Shelter (HHOTS) and the county animal control department gratefully accepted the offer and celebrated by thanking the family as a group.
“We are animal lovers and hope this will encourage others within the community to support the animal shelter,” Marilyn Ragans said. “And we encourage folks to have their pets spayed or neutered,” Tiffany Ragans said.
