FDOT announces road and lane closures for April 27 – May 3

The Florida Department of Transportation issued the following notice about upcoming road and lane closures in Taylor County for April 27 to May 3:

U.S. 221: Daytime lane closures after 8 a.m. for work on the traffic separator north of the intersection with U.S. 19 in Perry.

U.S. 98: Traffic in both directions will be temporarily halted for several minutes while sections of the  temporary bridge over the Aucilla River at the Jefferson County line are replaced beginning Saturday for the next week. Also, traffic may be stopped temporary up to 10 minutes at a time weekdays to allow beams to be placed on the new bridge under construction. The speed limit on the temporary bridge is reduced to 30 mph and strictly enforced. Possible daytime lane closures as work continues to remove the old bridge. No detours are required for this project.
