6th grader facing nine cycles of chemotherapy

While most families are diving into the new year with vigor, one local family continues to rally around their daughter as she takes her fight against cancer into 2016.

Nicole Myer, 12, underwent brain surgery some three months ago to remove a malignant tumor; since then she has undergone 30 radiation treatments in a span of seven weeks and faces nine cycles of chemotherapy that will stretch from January to Fall.
